On 8 July 2026, the Professional Day of the Répás Zsuzsanna Scholarship Programme was held in Budapest, organized by Edutus University. During the event, current scholarship holders presented the results of their ongoing research projects.
Ingrid Lőrinc, researcher at the Hodinka Antal Research Centre for Linguistics, delivered a presentation entitled From Survival to Development: The Situation of Hungarian Youth Organisations in Transcarpathia within the Framework of Hungarian Support Structures and Policy Recommendations for EU Integration Processes.
Her presentation focused on the current challenges and opportunities facing Hungarian youth organisations in Transcarpathia, the role of Hungarian support mechanisms, and policy recommendations aimed at strengthening their participation in European integration processes.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for scholarship holders from across the Carpathian Basin to exchange research findings, build professional networks, and discuss current issues related to minority communities, language policy, education, and community development.
