Programme title: Development of a Ukrainian–Hungarian Administrative Mini-Dictionary
Year: 2014–2017
Brief description: The aim of the project was to compile a database for a bilingual Ukrainian–Hungarian administrative mini-dictionary. The dictionary contains specialised terms related to administrative procedures and official language use that can facilitate effective communication between Hungarian-speaking members of the minority community and officials who speak the majority language. It is also intended to facilitate the work of public administration employees, support language learning for those wishing to pursue a career in public administration, and contribute to the standardisation of administrative terminology.
The Ukrainian–Hungarian administrative register dictionary is available online and can be downloaded from the website of our Research Centre.
