Our Researchers’ Study Published in Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis, Philologica

A joint study by our researchers, Ingrid Lőrinc and Adrienn Vig, has been published in Volume 5, Issue 2 (2026) of the scientific journal Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis, Philologica. Entitled Digital multilingualism in the borderland economy: the online communication of Hungarian small enterprises in Transcarpathia, the study examines the digital language use and online communication strategies of Hungarian small enterprises in Transcarpathia.

The article also highlights that, due to wartime conditions, restricted mobility, and economic uncertainty, the importance of online communication has increased significantly for businesses in the region. Today, a digital presence is not only a marketing tool but also a key factor in maintaining customer relations and ensuring market visibility.

Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis, Philologica is the scientific journal of the Department of Philology at Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University. In Ukraine, it is recognized as a Category “B” academic journal, while in Hungary it is listed as a Category “A” journal by the Linguistics Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
